Questions, answered honestly
01 Is this a paid internship?
FuseOne is a small, learning-first studio. Compensation depends on the track and the project β we don't promise a stipend upfront, and we won't pretend we always can.
02 Who is this for?
Students and early builders who want to ship real work alongside a small team. Beginners are welcome if you're consistent.
03 Do I need prior experience?
For most tracks, no. You need curiosity, basic writing, and the willingness to finish what you start.
04 How long is the internship?
Typically 8β12 weeks. It depends on the track and how much you want to take on.
05 Is it remote?
Yes. Everything happens async, with a weekly sync.
06 Will I get a certificate?
Yes β on completion of the track, you receive a verifiable certificate with a unique ID.
07 How do you verify a certificate?
Use the Verify section above. Enter the Certificate ID (e.g. FN-2026-00021) and the lookup will confirm it.
08 Will I get a job / LOR / placement guarantee?
No. We don't promise placements or recommendation letters upfront. If you do strong work, we'll happily say so β but that has to be earned.
09 What is the Builder's Handbook?
A short, opinionated guide we wrote for our interns: how we work, what we expect, and how to get the most out of the program.
10 How many hours per week?
Most interns put in 6β10 hours a week. It flexes around your college schedule.
11 Can I do this alongside college?
Yes β that's the default. We expect interns to keep up with their studies.
12 Will I work on real client work?
Sometimes, when relevant and only with clear scope. We never throw interns at client work unsupervised.
13 What happens after the internship?
Strong interns get continued collaboration on real projects. There is no auto-full-time offer β that's a separate conversation.
14 How do I apply?
Click Apply and fill out the short Google Form. We read every response.
15 When will I hear back?
Usually within a week. Sometimes slower β we're a small team.
